Senior Social Worker - MASH

Role:  Qualified Senior Social Worker Location: Central Midlands Team: MASH (Screening in First Response) Team Pay: £38 per hour Contract: Full-Time Locum In the office: Office-based   Are you looking to get the most out of your Social Work career? Are you an experienced Senior Social Worker, ready to take on a challenging role in a MASH team? Sheldon-Phillips are proud to be working in partnership with a Central Midlands local authority to recruit for a Senior Social Worker role in their Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). As a Senior Social Worker, you will be required to lead on complex investigations and complex assessments, as well as providing advice and guidance to colleagues. You will be expected to provide evidence-based advice and challenge decisions, as well as advocating on behalf of vulnerable service users. You must be confident in your ability to work under pressure, managing a heavy workload without compromising on quality. To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration. You will have a minimum of two years' experience as a Social Worker, and have an in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and experience of working in a MASH or assessment team. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £38.
