At this Local Authority in Kent, we are looking for an experienced and qualified Social Work Assistant Team Manager to join the Children's Social Work (Localities) Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective management of a team of Social Workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that protect children, young people and families. The successful candidate will have: • A qualification in Social Work (e.g. DipSW, CQSW, CSS, CSSW, etc.)  • Must be registered with Social Work England • Extensive experience of working with children, young people, families and communities • The ability to lead a team, manage resources and front-line services • A commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children, young people and families • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Organisational and planning skills • Knowledge of child protection, safeguarding and other relevant legislation • Professionalism and a positive attitude You will be joining a team that is focused on providing high-quality, effective and efficient services that protect children, young people and families, enabling them to reach their full potential.
