Sheldon-Phillips is looking for an experienced and driven Team Manager to join a Referral and Assessment Childrens Team in the East of London.
As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for providing the highest standard of Social Work practice and lead an effective, efficient and well-managed service. We need an experienced, qualified and committed individual who is capable of delivering high-quality work and promoting the best interests of the children and families within the team.
You will be required to lead, manage and coordinate a multi-disciplinary team of social workers and other professionals. You will provide strategic direction and support to the team, and ensure that all children and families are provided with the highest level of care. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the team meets all statutory requirements and complies with all relevant legislation.
We are looking for someone with at least two years’ experience as a Team Manager or Assistant Team Manager. You must be registered with Social Work England and have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection. A relevant qualification in Social Work is preferred, along with excellent leadership and management skills.
This is a Hybrid role, which offers the opportunity of working both flexibly and remotely. You will be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate of up to £45.50 and have access to a generous benefits package.
