Supervising Social Worker – Fostering  Role:  Supervising Social Worker Location: Gloucester based Independent Fostering Agency Team:  Fostering  Pay:  £38/hr Contract:  Full Time Locum We are searching for a talented and passionate individual to join a fostering team based in Gloucester. Our independent fostering agency client is currently looking for a Qualified Social Worker for a 3 month ongoing contract.  The client is offering £38/hr and has a good ofsted, they will also pay mileage.  This is a locum role with a well-respected fostering agency and offers an excellent platform for you to develop your skills and grow your career. To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in fostering. A qualified social worker, you will have excellent knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation, and be committed to promoting the best interests of the children and young people you work with. As a Supervising Social Worker  you will need to have at least 2 year post qualifying experience in a similar team and to have completed an ASYE. To be considered as a Supervising Social Worker for this role in Gloucester you will also need: HCPC Registration Social Work Qualification Recent DBS Check At least 2 years’ experience + ASYE completed Duties include but not limited to: To recruit, support and develop the skills of our foster carers to ensure that we provide outstanding care and the best possible outcomes for our children and young people in our care. To work in collaboration with all stakeholders and strive to ensure that the children and young people in our care reach their full potential. To provide a comprehensive, flexible and high-quality service to carers, children and young people in our care using legal, regulatory and statutory guidance to inform practice decisions and to safeguard and protect against harm.
