Role:  Social Work Team Manager Location: West Midlands Team: Safeguarding Pay: £42 per hour Contract: Full-Time Locum In the office: Hybrid-based   Are you an experienced & registered Social Worker looking for a Team Manager role? Are you looking for a role that offers hybrid and flexible working to fit around your lifestyle? If so, this may be the perfect role for you! This small local authority in the West Midlands is currently looking for a Social Work Team Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing supervision, chairing strategy discussions, Quality Assuring documents and chairing care planning meetings. It should be noted that the Team Manager will not have any line management responsibilities and will instead provide management support to the current Team Manager’s. It is essential that the successful candidate holds a current Social Work England Registration as well as a degree or equivalent in Social Work. A minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience and a proven track record in Social Work is also required. You will be expected to have a thorough understanding of the legislative framework and the ability to remain within the boundaries of best practice and professional standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential in order to effectively build relationships with key stakeholders and maintain an open dialogue with service users. The role is paying £42 per hour and offers hybrid and flexible working.
