Havering | Locum | £41.10 per hour | 36 hours per week | 2 Days Office-Based

Caseload: 15–20 children

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join Havering’s dedicated Child Protection service. You will play a key role in safeguarding children, supporting families, and providing professional leadership within the team.

In this role, you will manage a caseload of 15–20 children, ensuring timely, high-quality assessments and interventions. You will work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, contribute to robust safety planning, and support less experienced social workers through guidance and reflective practice.

What You’ll Need:

• Social Work England Registration
• Social Work Qualification
• Significant post-qualifying experience in statutory children’s services
• Strong expertise in child protection
• Excellent assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing demands
• Flexibility to travel locally when required
