Are you an experienced and dedicated social work professional ready to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Practitioner to join our Children In Need / Child Protection team in East London. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Case Management: Handle complex and high-risk cases, providing expert guidance and support to social workers in the team.
• Safeguarding: Lead on safeguarding investigations, ensuring that children are protected and appropriate interventions are made swiftly.
• Mentorship: Offer mentorship and advice to less experienced social workers, helping them develop their skills and confidence.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all casework meets statutory requirements and best practice standards, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for children.
• Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work closely with other agencies and professionals to coordinate support and interventions for children and families.
• Decision-Making: Use your experience and judgement to make critical decisions, particularly in complex and urgent cases.
• Training and Development: Contribute to the professional development of the team by sharing your expertise and leading training sessions.
