Sheldon Phillips is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join the Localities Team in South Gloucestershire on a locum basis. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility and an accommodation allowance for those needing to stay locally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance and support within the Localities Team.

• Carry out complex casework, ensuring high-quality assessments and interventions.

• Support social workers through supervision and reflective practice.

• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.

• Maintain compliance with legislative frameworks and safeguarding procedures.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.

• Significant experience in children’s services, ideally within a Localities Team.

• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989.

• Ability to work independently and provide leadership within the team.

• Enhanced DBS check and full right to work in the UK.
