We are seeking a passionate and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our  clients Assessment Team in Woking. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families within the community, while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments of children and families in accordance with statutory guidelines.
  • Developing and implementing care plans to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
  • Working collaboratively with families, other professionals, and partner agencies to deliver high-quality services.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in line with local authority procedures and regulations.
  • Attending and contributing to case reviews, child protection conferences, and court proceedings where necessary.
  • Ensuring the voices of children and families are at the heart of the assessment process.

Essential Requirements:

  • Social Work England registration.
  • Recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., degree or diploma in social work).
  • Post-qualification experience in children's services, particularly in assessment and safeguarding.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage a caseload, and meet deadlines.
