About the Role

Leicestershire County Council is seeking an experienced and compassionate Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team. This role offers an opportunity to provide essential support to children and young people with disabilities, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and safeguarding.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of children with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met through appropriate care plans.

• Conducting assessments and developing tailored support packages for children and their families.

• Working closely with multi-agency professionals to provide coordinated and effective interventions.

• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices in safeguarding and social care.

Requirements

• Experience working with children with disabilities and their families.
