Children's Social Worker - Safeguarding

Plymouth City Council are looking for a Social Worker to join their safeguarding Service.

This is a Full-Time Locum Social Work role.

About The Role:

As a social worker in this team, you will need to undertake assessments of need and risk; plan for outcomes, reviewing in line with procedures. Analysis of the decision-making and understand the difference between opinion and fact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make a vital contribution to the delivery of high-quality services and play an important part in quality assuring work and performance managing staff where needed.
• Managers are asked to model a restorative approach across our teams and will be expected to attend and engage with mandatory training, which has been a significant investment for us to build, maintain and repair relationships with our children and families.

About You:

To apply for this role, you will need to be experienced in Assessment, Safeguarding and Care Proceedings.

BA(Hons) in Social Work and to be registered with Social Work England (SWE).
