Are you a skilled Social Worker with a passion for fostering services? We are seeking a Locum Fostering Social Worker to join a dynamic West Midlands Local Authority. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting foster carers, ensuring that children and young people receive the care they deserve in a nurturing environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and supervise foster carers to provide stable placements for children.
• Undertake fostering assessments and annual reviews.
• Work closely with children and young people in foster care, ensuring their needs are met.
• Contribute to placement stability through regular visits, reviews, and support plans.
• Collaborate with multi-agency teams to ensure the best outcomes for children.

 

Requirements:

• SWE Registration is essential.
• Experience in fostering or children's social work.
• Strong assessment, communication, and case management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
