Keyworker – Family Support / Early Help Service
Rate: Up to £22 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
Contract: 6-month locum
Start: ASAP
Sheldon Phillips is currently supporting our client, a Family Wellbeing Centre in the heart of Willesden, Brent, to recruit an experienced Keyworker.
This service delivers vital Early Help, wellbeing, and community family support, working directly with individuals and families to assess needs, coordinate services, and safeguard children and young people through timely, person-centred intervention.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a social care professional who enjoys meaningful direct work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is confident working with partner agencies to drive improved outcomes.
Act as the primary point of contact for families and individuals accessing support.
Complete holistic assessments to identify presenting needs and appropriate interventions.
Develop, implement, and review personalised family support plans.
Deliver practical and emotional support, coordinating access to services and community resources.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners and external professionals.
Advocate on behalf of families, ensuring needs are clearly represented.
Maintain accurate, structured, and compliant case notes and records.
Identify safeguarding concerns and escalate risk appropriately in line with policy.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in: Social care, Early Help, family support, community services or Keyworker roles.
Experience in completing family assessments and structured support planning.
Confident working alongside multi-disciplinary and external agencies.
Strong understanding of safeguarding policy, risk awareness, and escalation pathways.
Excellent written communication skills, able to maintain high-quality case records.
Ability to manage a busy caseload autonomously, prioritising effectively.
Enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to improving outcomes for families.
Up to £22 per hour (flexibility available for the right candidate).
Stable Monday–Friday schedule (9–5, no weekends).
6-month contract
