LAC Team Manager

Oxfordshire County Council are looking for a Team Manager to join their Looked After Children Team. This is a Full-Time Permanent Social Work role ranging between £55,783.00 to £59,010.00 per annum.

About The Team:

You would be responsible for ensuring that all County Safeguarding and Child Protection policies are adhered to and concerns are raised in accordance with these policies. 

Key Experience & Responsibilities:

• To contribute to and apply the Council’s strategy to support vulnerable
• children and families.
• To ensure service is delivered in line with Oxfordshire’s principles and values
• of working with partners, children and families.
• To provide leadership for and management of all allocated resources to ensure appropriate and effective delivery of identified outcomes for children and families

About You:

To apply for this role, you will need at least 3 years’ experience at management level within LAC and or Safeguarding. Knowledge and experience in Children In Need, Child Protection and Looked After Children is required for this role.

Car Driver and Access to a vehicle is required.

BA(Hons) in Social Work and to be registered with Social Work England (SWE).
