Pay: £41.10 per hour
Contract: 3-month ongoing | 36 hours per week

The London Borough of Havering is seeking a confident and experienced Assistant Team Manager (ATM) or Consultant Social Worker (CSW) to join their Children with Disabilities Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled practitioner looking to step into a leadership role within a specialist service dedicated to supporting children with complex needs and disabilities.

Role Highlights:

• £41.10 per hour (umbrella)

• 3-month ongoing contract, with potential for extension

• 36 hours per week

• Key leadership role in a specialist children's team

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support social workers handling complex disability cases

• Ensure effective safeguarding, care planning, and service delivery

• Take the lead on risk management, case audits, and performance tracking

• Facilitate multi-agency working to deliver holistic support to families

• Contribute to strategic planning and service improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Social Work England registration

• Substantial experience in Children’s Services, particularly within disability or complex needs teams

• Previous experience in a supervisory or senior practice role

• In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, statutory responsibilities, and relevant legislation
