Are you an experienced Social Worker with a passion for supporting children in care? Bexley is looking for a Senior Social Worker to join their Looked After Children service. Key Responsibilities

• Hold a caseload of Looked After Children and contribute to care planning

• Build positive and meaningful relationships with children and young people

• Undertake statutory visits, care reviews, and pathway planning

• Work closely with IROs, foster carers, schools, and health professionals

• Prepare reports for court and attend legal proceedings when necessary

Candidate Requirements

• Social Work England registration

• Minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience in LAC or long-term teams

• Confident in care planning, statutory duties, and multi-agency working

• Clear, evidence-based report writing skills

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
