Social Worker – Family Assessment Service – Croydon Council

Location: Croydon
Pay/Salary: up to £53,000 per annum
Office Working: Hybrid
Contract: Permanent

We are currently working with Croydon Council to find an experienced Social Worker for their Family Assessment Service in Children’s Services. With a stable management team and a supportive workforce, Croydon are looking for someone with solid experience to join their service on a permanent basis and support children and families across the borough.

Duties
• Completing Section 47’s and Section 17 enquiries
• Conducting Initial Assessments
• Working in a fast paced team
• Participating in strategy meetings where necessary
• Completing Children and Family Assessments
• Managing a caseload and working directly with children and families
• Working collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes

What you need
• Social Work Qualification
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
• Previous experience within Children’s Social Care
• Experience of working within a Family Assessment, Assessment or similar service
