Social Worker – Child Protection Team – Wandsworth Council

Location: Wandsworth Council

Salary: Up to £50,000 per year

Office Working: 3 Days Per Week

Contract: Permanent

We are currently working with Wandsworth Council to find an experienced Social Worker/Senior Social Worker for their Child Protection team in Childrens Services. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Wandsworth are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload and support their service.

Duties

• Completing Section 47’s and section 17 enquiries
• Undertake Section 7and 37 reports, as well as attending Court, and providing analysis and evidence-based recommendations
• Long term engagement with families, including direct work, capturing the voice of the child
• Write conference reports and attend conferences, such as Core Group Meetings

What you need

• Social Work Qualification
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
