Responsibilities:

As a Senior Social Worker on our Child Protection Team, your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a complex caseload of child protection cases, conducting thorough assessments, and developing effective care plans.
• Leading and coordinating multi-agency meetings, case conferences, and strategy discussions to ensure a collaborative approach to safeguarding.
• Providing expert advice, guidance, and support to colleagues, newly qualified social workers, and other professionals within the team.
• Preparing detailed reports and presenting evidence in court proceedings when required.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, policies, and procedures related to child protection.
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date case records and ensuring all documentation meets legal and organizational standards.
• Participating in regular supervision, training, and continuous professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
