Are you a dedicated and experienced social worker looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives? The London Borough of Hackney is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join their Children in Need Team within children's services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop tailored care plans.
• Provide direct support and intervention to children in need and their families.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Advocate for the needs and rights of children within the legal framework.
• Participate in regular supervision and training to uphold high standards of practice.

Requirements:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma).
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• At least 2 years of experience in children's services, particularly within a Children in Need Team.
• Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
