Location: Birmingham
Team: Connected Person Foster Carer Support and Supervision Team
Pay: Up to £30 per hour
Contract: Part-time Locum (18.25 hours per week)
Ofsted: Good

We’re currently looking for an experienced Fostering Social Worker to join our Connected Person Foster Carer Support and Supervision Team. This role will see you supporting and supervising family and friends (kinship) carers, ensuring they have everything they need to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in their care.

This is a part-time position (18.25 hours per week), perfect for someone looking to maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful difference.

Fostering experience is essential, and experience in family and friends/kinship care is highly desirable.

What You’ll Need:

• Social Work England Registration

• Social Work Qualification

• At least 3 years’ experience in Children’s Services

• Experience in fostering, including support and supervision of carers

• Strong communication and advocacy skills

• Ability to work flexibly and build strong relationships with families
