Role: Qualified Social Worker
Location: Lewisham
Team: Family Support & Safeguarding
Pay: Up to £38.50 per hour
Contract: Locum

Lewisham are looking for a passionate and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join their Family Support & Safeguarding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking local authority that puts children and families at the heart of everything they do.

You’ll be based at Laurence House in Catford, with an expectation of hybrid working, typically spending 2–3 days a week in the office or out in the community. The team focuses on delivering high-quality interventions to children and families in need, supporting better outcomes and ensuring that safeguarding is always a top priority.

What You’ll Need:

• Social Work England Registration

• Social Work Qualification

• At least 3 years’ experience in Children’s Services

• Experience in child protection, care proceedings, and safeguarding

• Strong relationship-building and advocacy skills

• Flexibility to travel locally when required
