Role: Qualified Social Worker

Pay: Up to £38.50 per hour
Contract: Locum

The London Borough of Bexley is looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join their Looked After Children, Placements and Specialist Services team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people, providing high-quality support to those in care and ensuring that placements are safe, stable, and meet their needs.

You’ll work within a supportive and knowledgeable team, committed to positive outcomes for young people. Bexley offers a collaborative environment and clear pathways to help you deliver effective social work practice every step of the way.

What You’ll Need:

• Social Work England Registration

• Social Work Qualification

• At least 3 years’ experience in Children’s Services

• Experience in LAC, placements and care planning

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Flexibility to travel locally when required
