The London Borough of Enfield is seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join their Referral and Assessment Team within children's services. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families in Enfield. If you have a strong background in assessment and a commitment to safeguarding, this role is an ideal fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify the level of risk and need for children and families.
• Develop and implement effective intervention plans based on comprehensive assessments.
• Collaborate with families, children, and multi-disciplinary teams to provide holistic support.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Make informed decisions regarding the safety and well-being of children.
• Engage in regular supervision, training, and professional development.

Requirements:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma).
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Proven experience in children's services, particularly in a Referral and Assessment Team.
• Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
