Role: Qualified Social Worker

Team: Referral & Assessment
Pay: Up to £38.50 per hour
Contract: Locum

Are you an experienced Social Worker looking for your next challenge? Our Referral & Assessment team is at the heart of safeguarding children and ensuring they receive the right support at the right time. This role is perfect for a proactive and dedicated professional ready to make a real impact.

You’ll be responsible for carrying out assessments under Section 17 and Section 47 of the Children Act, responding to new referrals, and working with families to ensure children are safe and thriving. The role requires strong decision-making skills, experience in child protection, and a commitment to working in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Need:

• Social Work England Registration

• Social Work Qualification

• At least 3 years’ experience in Children’s Services

• Experience in Referral & Assessment, Child Protection, and Safeguarding

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills

• Flexibility to travel locally when required
