We are seeking an experienced Duty and Assessment Social Worker to join the London Borough of Bexley. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive team, delivering high-quality assessments and safeguarding support for children and families.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct timely and thorough assessments to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.

• Manage a caseload of children and families requiring short-term intervention.

• Undertake Section 47 investigations and make informed decisions on child protection matters.

• Work closely with multi-agency professionals to provide comprehensive support.

• Provide clear and detailed reports for decision-making and court proceedings.

• Attend strategy meetings, case conferences, and court hearings when necessary.
   

Requirements:

• Social Work England registration.

• Significant experience in Duty and Assessment social work.

• Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and procedures.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
