Achieving for Children is looking to recruit experienced and passionate Social Workers to join their Assessment Service, based across their Richmond & Kingston or Windsor & Maidenhead office locations. You will play a key role in undertaking high-quality assessments, managing cases through the front door, and delivering timely, child-focused interventions that create lasting change.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake timely, high-quality statutory assessments
Complete Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries in line with statutory guidance
Produce robust assessments, safety plans, and intervention strategies
Work directly with children and families to effect positive change
Liaise effectively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children
Maintain accurate, high-quality case records and reports
Participate in supervision, training, and continuous professional development

Candidate Requirements

Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
Experience within Children’s Front Door, Assessment, or Safeguarding Teams
Strong knowledge of child protection legislation, statutory guidance, and assessment frameworks
Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
