Pay: Up to £33.30 per hour

We are working with Birmingham Children’s Trust, which is looking for a Senior Social Worker to join its Assessment team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, dynamic service that plays a vital role in ensuring children and families receive the right support at the right time.

The Assessment team works with families at the point of referral, completing timely and effective assessments to determine the best course of action to safeguard and support children. Birmingham Children’s Trust is known for its strong leadership, supportive environment, and commitment to professional development.

You’ll need to be a confident and experienced Social Worker who can manage complex cases, complete high-quality assessments, and work collaboratively with families and multi-agency partners.

What You’ll Need:

• Social Work England Registration

• Social Work Qualification

• At least 3 years’ experience in Children’s Services, including assessment and statutory work

• Experience in managing complex caseloads and completing high-quality assessments

Working Model:

• Fast-paced assessment environment

• Face-to-face meetings with children and families
