Senior Social Worker – Assessment and Intervention Service

Salary: £50,782 - £55,852

As a Senior Social Worker within our Assessment and Intervention Service, you will:

• Undertake assessments and create outcome-based plans that address the needs and risks to children and families.
• Develop effective relationships with children, young people, and families to improve service impact.
• Work collaboratively with multiagency partners and ensure that plans reflect the views of children and families.
• Provide professional reports, participate in multiagency meetings, and contribute to court work as needed.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and maintain accurate records.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in assessments, risk assessment, and multiagency working.
• Knowledge of child protection procedures and the Children’s Act (sections 17 and 47).
• Ability to work collaboratively with families and agencies.
• Court work experience is an added advantage.

Essential Qualifications:

• Social Work Degree (or equivalent) and Social Work England registration.
• Significant post-graduate experience in child protection and family social work.
