Are you a skilled Social Worker passionate about supporting vulnerable young people? Join our Homeless Intervention Team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of 16 and 17-year-olds at risk of homelessness or currently homeless.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake Section 17 assessments and formulate Child in Need (CIN) plans.
• Support young people in accessing accommodation, financial support, education, and employment opportunities.
• Implement Section 20 procedures leading up to the first Children in Care (CIC) review.
• Work closely with the Southwark Team, exclusively focused on homeless intervention for 16 and 17-year-olds.
   

Experience & Skills:

• Previous experience in Children in Care is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of housing and support services for young people at risk of homelessness.
• Experience in developing tailored support plans and advocating for vulnerable young people.
   

Requirements:

• SWE Registration (Social Work England)
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
