Senior Social Worker – Children with Disabilities – London Borough of Enfield

Location: Enfield, London
Rate: £38.50 per hour
Contract: Locum, Hybrid, 6-month rolling contract

About the Role:
The London Borough of Enfield is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join their Children with Disabilities Team. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility while providing essential support to children with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a complex caseload within the CWD service.

• Conduct assessments and care planning for children with disabilities.

• Work in partnership with families, carers, and external agencies.

• Ensure compliance with Children’s Act 1989 and other relevant legislation.

• Support less experienced social workers and contribute to team development.

Requirements:

• Social Work England registration.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Children with Disabilities Team.

• Strong knowledge of disability legislation and safeguarding.

• Excellent communication and assessment skills.
