Senior Social Worker – MASH

Bromley | Locum | £39.04 per hour | Hybrid Working

Bromley Council is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join their Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This is a fast-paced front door role focused on screening referrals, assessing risk, and ensuring children and families receive the right intervention at the earliest opportunity.

You will work within a multi-agency environment, collaborating with police, health, education, and other partners to make timely and informed safeguarding decisions.

In this role, you will:

• Screen and triage referrals into the MASH service
• Assess risk and make timely safeguarding decisions
• Work closely with multi-agency partners to gather and share information
• Provide professional judgement on thresholds and next steps
• Support less experienced social workers within the team
• Maintain accurate and high-quality case recordings
• Contribute to effective and timely service delivery

What You’ll Need:

• Social Work England Registration
• Social Work Qualification
• At least 3 years’ post-qualified experience in children’s social care
• Strong experience within MASH / Front Door services
• Confidence in decision-making and risk assessment
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
