Role: Senior Social Worker
Location: London Borough of Bexley
Team: Mental Health (Bexley14)
Pay: Up to £38 per hour
Contract: Locum

The London Borough of Bexley is looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join their Mental Health team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to bring their expertise to a dynamic, supportive service making a real impact in adult mental health care.

This role is ideal for a qualified AMHP who no longer wishes to practice but wants to contribute their knowledge and experience to a frontline service. You'll be based in the office 4 days a week, working closely with colleagues and external partners to support adults with complex needs. A full driving license is essential, as local travel forms part of the role.

What You’ll Need:

• Social Work England Registration

• Social Work Qualification

• AMHP Qualification (non-practicing acceptable)

• At least 3 years’ experience in Adult Mental Health Services

• Ability to drive and travel locally as needed

• Strong assessment, risk management, and advocacy skills
