Hampshire County Council is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Team covering Eastleigh and Winchester. Key Responsibilities

Lead on complex safeguarding and child protection cases, providing guidance to colleagues
Undertake detailed assessments and develop robust safety and care plans
Chair core group meetings and multi-agency discussions
Offer mentoring and support to less experienced social workers
Prepare and present detailed reports for court proceedings and panels

Candidate Requirements

Social Work England registration
Significant post-qualified experience in Safeguarding, Child Protection, or Children in Need
Strong leadership, assessment, and communication skills
Experience supporting or mentoring colleagues is desirable
Commitment to high-quality, child-centred social work practice
