Social Worker

South Gloucestershire Council are looking for a Senior Social Worker to join their Children in Care Service. This is a Full-Time Locum Social Work role.

About The Team:

Within this team you will be allocated cases across Children in Care, UASC, Early Permanence and Leaving Care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Traveling to children and young people placed are out of the local area.
• Work will include completing regular visits and assessments, gaining the views and wishes of children and young people and incorporating their views into your daily work.
• Working with children and young people who are in Private Fostering settings, placed with Kinship Carers and Unaccompanied Asylum Seekers.  

About You:

To apply for this role, you will need knowledge and experience in Children in Care, UASC, and Fostering Services. Car Driver and Access to a vehicle is required. BA(Hons) in Social Work and to be registered with Social Work England (SWE).
