We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Protection Social Worker to join the Child Protection and Court Service at Leicestershire County Council. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of vulnerable children and families.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a complex caseload of children and families requiring Child Protection support.

• Undertake assessments, develop care plans, and provide appropriate interventions.

• Lead on court proceedings, including preparing reports, attending hearings, and giving evidence.

• Work in partnership with multi-agency professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.

• Provide high-quality written reports and assessments for use in court.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.
   

Requirements:

• Social Work England registration.

• Proven experience in Child Protection and Court work.

• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

• Excellent report writing and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
