Role: Social Worker – Adults (Under 6 Years Qualified) | Location: Islington | Team: Complex Needs Team
Pay: £34 per hour | Contract: Locum

Islington Council is seeking a dedicated Adults Social Worker to join their Complex Needs Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a practitioner with up to six years of post-qualified experience to develop their skills within a supportive and well-structured environment.

You’ll be working with adults with a range of complex needs, undertaking assessments, managing risk, and coordinating support plans that promote independence, wellbeing, and safety. The role involves close partnership working with health professionals, housing, and community services to ensure person-centred, outcome-focused support.

What You’ll Need:

• Social Work England registration
• Social Work qualification
• Experience of working with adults with complex needs
• Sound understanding of the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005
• Strong assessment, planning, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with professionals and families
