This is a permanent Social Worker position within the Assessment Service in Barking & Dagenham. You will complete high-quality assessments, work with children and families at the point of referral, and ensure timely decision-making to support safety and positive outcomes. The role involves direct work with children, multi-agency collaboration, and managing risk within statutory frameworks.

What You’ll Need:

• Social Work England registration
• Social Work qualification
• Experience in assessment and frontline statutory social work
• Strong analysis, report writing and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced assessment environment
• Flexibility to attend the office three days per week
