Social Worker – Assessment

Enfield | Locum | £37.52 per hour | Hybrid Working

Enfield Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Assessment Team. You will work with children and families at the front door of services, completing high-quality assessments and interventions to ensure children receive the right support at the right time.

In this role, you will:

• Undertake statutory assessments and manage Child in Need and Child Protection cases
• Work independently on complex and challenging cases
• Assess and manage risk, adapting practice to meet the needs of families
• Complete high-quality reports and assessments within statutory timescales
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children
• Contribute to effective planning and decision-making for children and families

What You’ll Need:

• Social Work England Registration
• Social Work Qualification
• At least 3 years’ experience in statutory children’s social work
• Experience working within Assessment, CIN, and CP frameworks
• Strong analytical, assessment, and report-writing skills
• Confidence in managing complex and high-risk cases
