Rate: £37-£38.50p/h

Havering is recruiting experienced social workers to join our Children in Care (CIC) Teams. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing of children and families while providing long-term case holding, including working within Court / Care proceedings.

Essential Skills:

• Strong understanding of Children in Care
• Experience in Assessments, Safeguarding (CP), and Children in Care work
• Experience in Court and Care proceedings

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cases of children in care, ensuring statutory guidance and visiting requirements are met
• Work on permanency planning and court/care proceedings
• Provide support and intervention in safeguarding (CP) cases
• Work closely with families and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children

Essential Skills:

• SWE registration
• 2+ years’ experience in Children and Families social work, including assessments, safeguarding (CP), and court/care proceedings
• Experience in Children in Care
