Social Worker – Children with Disabilities

Sutton | Locum | £37.52 per hour | Hybrid Working (3 days per week in the office)

Sutton Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Children with Disabilities (CWD) Service. You’ll support children and young people with complex needs, carrying out high-quality assessments, care planning, and direct work to ensure they receive the right support at the right time.

In this role, you’ll work closely with families, education, health partners, and specialist services to promote positive outcomes, independence, and safety for children with disabilities. You’ll also manage a varied caseload, ensuring timely interventions and clear, strengths-based planning.

What You’ll Need:

• Social Work England Registration
• Social Work Qualification
• At least 3 years’ experience working with children and families, ideally within CWD
• Strong assessment, communication, and multi-agency working skills
• Ability to manage risk and maintain high-quality case records
• Flexibility to attend the office as required by the service (minimum 3 days per week)
