Social Worker – Duty and Assessment

Windsor & Maidenhead | Locum | £38 per hour | 37 Hours per Week

Windsor & Maidenhead are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Duty and Assessment service. You will be responsible for completing timely, high-quality assessments, managing risk, and ensuring children and families receive the right level of support at the right time.

In this role, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment where you will screen referrals, undertake S17 and S47 enquiries, and progress plans that safeguard children and promote positive outcomes. Strong analytical skills, confidence in decision-making, and experience within frontline assessment teams are essential.

What You’ll Need:

• Social Work England Registration
• Social Work Qualification
• Duty & Assessment experience preferred
• Experience completing S17/S47 assessments and risk analysis
• Strong multi-agency working skills
• Flexibility to travel locally when required
