Kent County Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join the Children's Social Work Team (CSWT) based in the Swale Office. Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of children and families within the CSWT service
Complete high-quality assessments and develop clear, outcome-focused plans
Carry out child protection enquiries, safety planning, and ongoing risk assessments
Build strong relationships with families to support sustainable positive change
Work closely with partner agencies to ensure coordinated and effective intervention
Prepare clear, analytical reports and attend relevant meetings, including case conferences and court where required

Candidate Requirements

Social Work England registration
Strong post-qualified experience within Safeguarding, Child Protection, or similar frontline teams
Excellent assessment, risk analysis, and report-writing skills
A child-centred, strengths-based approach to practice
Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment
