Kent County Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Social Worker to join its Safeguarding Team based in the Dover office. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of children subject to Child Protection and Child in Need plans
• Undertake Section 47 investigations and safeguarding enquiries
• Complete statutory assessments and visits within required timescales
• Prepare comprehensive reports for child protection conferences and court proceedings
• Work in partnership with multi-agency professionals to safeguard children
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date case recording in line with statutory guidance

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
• Experience within Safeguarding / Child Protection services
• Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and statutory frameworks
• Confident in risk assessment and court-related work
• Ability to manage complex caseloads effectively
