Kent County Council is seeking an experienced and passionate Social Worker to join its Safeguarding Team based in the Swale office. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of children and families requiring safeguarding and support
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop robust safety and care plans
  • Participate in child protection conferences, core groups, and court proceedings
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver effective multi-agency responses
  • Maintain clear, analytical case records and reports

Candidate Requirements

  • Social Work England registration
  • Experience in Safeguarding, Child Protection, or Children in Need services
  • Strong analytical, assessment, and report-writing skills
  • A commitment to child-centred and evidence-based practice
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-agency environment
