Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of children and families requiring safeguarding and protection
  • Undertake assessments, create outcome-focused plans, and lead on risk management
  • Build strong relationships with families to support sustainable positive change
  • Work in partnership with multi-agency professionals to deliver cohesive support
  • Prepare high-quality reports and attend child protection conferences and court when required

Candidate Requirements

  • Social Work England registration
  • Strong experience within Safeguarding, Child Protection, or Children in Need
  • Excellent analytical, assessment, and report-writing abilities
  • Strong understanding of legislation and statutory guidance
  • Commitment to child-centred, strengths-based practice
