Social Worker – MASH Team – London

Location: London Borough of Newham
Pay/Salary: up to £ 39.04 per hour
Office Working: Hybrid
Contract: Locum

We are currently working with the London Borough of Newham to find an experienced Social Worker for their MASH team in Children's Services. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Newham is looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload and support their service.

Duties

Based in Council offices co-locating with Police, health and Education
Receiving referrals from the public
Identifying risk and signposting
Writing detailed notes and moving cases to allocated Social Workers
Using signs of safety tools

What you need

Social Work Qualification
Social Work England registration
Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
Experience in a MASH or similar service within Children’s Services
