Are you a dedicated and experienced Social Worker looking for your next opportunity in a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)?
The London Borough of Enfield is seeking a skilled MASH Social Worker to join their dynamic team. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable children and families within a supportive and forward-thinking local authority.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and assess incoming referrals to the MASH, ensuring timely and effective responses to safeguarding concerns.
Conduct thorough risk assessments and gather information from multiple agencies to inform decision-making.
Work collaboratively with partner agencies, including health, education, and police, to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
Provide expert advice and guidance to professionals and families regarding safeguarding concerns.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements and Enfield's policies.
Essential Requirements:
Social Work England Registration: You must be registered with Social Work England.
UK Experience: A minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience as a Social Worker in a Child in Need/Child Protection or MASH team within the UK.
Expertise in Safeguarding: Proven experience in managing safeguarding cases, conducting risk assessments, and working in a multi-agency environment.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively engage with children, families, and multi-agency partners.
