Northamptonshire Children’s Trust is looking for a dedicated Safeguarding Social Worker to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families by ensuring their safety and well-being through effective safeguarding practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake comprehensive assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of children
• Manage a caseload of children at risk and implement safeguarding plans
• Work closely with families, multi-agency partners, and other professionals
• Prepare and present reports for court proceedings, ensuring accurate and timely documentation
• Conduct regular visits to children and families, providing support and guidance
• Focus on preventative work to reduce the need for escalation to statutory interventions

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Social Worker: Degree and registration with Social Work England
• Significant experience in safeguarding and child protection
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• A child-centered approach, committed to improving the lives of vulnerable children
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a demanding caseload
