Social Worker – Safeguarding & Child Protection

Ealing | Locum | £37.52 per hour | Hybrid Working

Ealing Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Safeguarding service. You will work with children and families across Child Protection, Child in Need, and Court proceedings, providing high-quality assessments and interventions that ensure safety, stability, and positive long-term outcomes.

In this role, you will manage a varied caseload, completing timely assessments, progressing care plans, and working closely with multi-agency partners to safeguard vulnerable children. Strong court work experience is highly desirable.

What You’ll Need:

• Social Work England Registration
• Social Work Qualification
• At least 3 years’ experience in Child Protection, CIN, and/or Court work
• Strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills
• Confidence in managing risk and decision-making
• Flexibility to travel locally when required
